The launch of Bully on the Bus as a part of the holiday program at Bundaberg Library was a lot of fun! Check out that funky library. We love it!
Thank-you to Sue Gammon for her wonderful words and launching the book, and Kathleen, Julie and Hayley for their help with the activities – and all that cutting! We had mask-making and bus-building, shape poems, and word-tag poems, and photos, photos, PHOTOS!
My husband made a beautiful ‘Bully’ bus for kids to play in and get their pics with, and Ally Howard was a star masquerading as ‘the wolf’ – who works his way into Bully on the Bus…
Here are some of the gorgeous pics of the day.
Looks like a fabulous launch – congratulations Kat:) What a great bus – and I’m glad you posted pics because I couldn’t imagine the lovely Ally as a scary wolf. Bully on the Bus is a wonderful, important book for kids. I hope it finds its way into many homes, schools and public libraries.

Ally was a gorgeous Little Bad Wolf, Dee, because she wasn’t very scary at all. Perfect! As to that bus… My husband is awesome! (You remember the little ‘MUD’ brand he made the morning of my Muddy book launch? Because I suddenly had a brilliant idea? Well – I gave him more notice on this one!)

Love the bus! I am reading the Bully On The Bus each evening to my kids and they are so silent as they listen intently. 🙂
