I’m a little late with poetry Friday this week… but here ’tis. A quick-grab how-to on the fabulously fun solage. For those of you who like a joke – or know some kids who do.
Thanks to Teacher Dance for hosting this week’s Poetry Friday.

I will share with others, Kathryn. What fun these are, and I imagine they’re more challenging than they seem, as you say!

Thanks, Linda. They’re good discipline for making every word count, whilst also being playful/creative.

Oooh. That does sound like a big step! (And I can’t help but wonder if there’s a ballet term for a ‘big step’.)

What a fun little poetry form! The cricket one is my favorite. Reminds me of long afternoons in front of the telly when we lived in Sydney. Never did get all those rules down, but I did like Gilly and his “Nice one, Shane.”

Oh! How lovely to hear, Michelle. I was wondering if that one might stump American readers.
