Queensland Writers Week – My Challenge

The Queensland Writers Centre is celebrating 20 years supporting Queensland writers. To mark the occasion, they are hosting Queensland Writers Week from 11th – 17th October 2010; an open festival championed by individual writers, community groups, schools and organisations.

During QWW I am committing to writing one poem every day (more if the going is good) on my second verse novel manuscript for children. It has been a while since I had the idea for this verse novel, and it has been swirling around in my head, gathering theme and momentum. The time is right for some dedicated writing and development. I’m looking forward to it!
