Katfish secures the platform.
Monsieur Jonty oversees proceedings.
Up the ladder...
And into the tree... house!
Kids learn so much through play!
They can walk a few miles and build a few muscles, too.
This project has been driven by our two lads over the past 2 months; chopping (small) timber, hauling same timber, playing with designs and finally enlisting Dad’s help for some of the tricky stuff. There’s still much to be done, apparently… but the boys are onto that!
Does this mean they can take their messy bedroom down the paddock, too?

It still does, although I’m pretty sure I have a skewed vision of what it’s really like.
In 3rd grade I wanted to live on a cattle ranch with a steel roof and a ride a kangaroo. That’ll work, right?

Hahaha… Just slightly skewed. Though we do have a tin roof – and a mob of kangaroos in the home paddock. Must post some pics…
